HIstory - Cape Town Carnival TAKE II for WORLD CUP

so we get to do the carnival all over again!

We've been asked by the City of Cape Town, to do our parade for their Welcome Party. Just over 2100 participants will be singing and dancing down the street in costumes. There are larger than life costumes with feathers, dancers and singers and brass and percussion bands.
The parade starts at 19h30 on the corner of Buitenkant and Darling Street - through the fan fest, left into Adderley, Right into Wale and disperses in Queen Victoria. It will last for about 90 minutes.

If you have not seen it yet, the Carnival of Cape Town, that brings people together across boundaries will blow you away.... Bring the children to see the dolphins and the sea urchins at play, come see the washing line blowing in the wind, imagine the Cape Doctor marching in on stilts and what about the flower seller that carries the street names of Cape Town...

And this time the creative team have gone totally OTT (over the top)... more feathers, more characters, more tuile, more everything.... louder music!!!

A real mini Rio for FIFA World CUP 2010 Tm! Johannesburg might have the concert, but Cape Town is taking the party to the streets.

Other artists are Locnville, Kurt Darren, HHP, JR and RJ Kelly!

Don't miss out!

CD's and booklets will be handed out from about 15h00 in St George's Mall, Adderley Street and Greenmarket Square.
